I build practical, open-source software and the infrastructure that makes it dependable.
My work spans: full-stack development, scientific and data pipelines in Python/R/Matlab, Linux systems administration (expert-level Bash), high-performance compute, supercomputing job queuing, containerized services, and declarative deployment automation.
I enjoy starting with a real problem and turning it into software that is reproducible, maintainable, and pleasant to operate. My current focus is on open-source tools and declarative programming approaches that make systems easier to describe, test, and evolve.
Some of my active working repositories are available here. Release-quality tools and public forks are mirrored on GitHub, and I occasionally publish documentation, technical notes, and tutorials on my blog.
