I am a software developer, consultant, and computational biologist with more than 20 years of programming experience. I build open-source software and Linux infrastructure with an emphasis on readable code, reproducible behavior, maintainable interfaces, and minimal operational complexity.

I started in academic computing, using Bash, R, MATLAB, and molecular-dynamics software on Linux supercomputers and batch-scheduling systems. My current work includes full-stack applications, scientific and data pipelines, desktop tools, Linux systems administration, containers, and declarative deployment automation. Bash is my preferred language for integrating programs and automating systems; I use it extensively with Python, Ansible, Podman, and standard Linux tooling to produce deterministic and idempotent workflows.

I enjoy analyzing complex codebases, reducing unnecessary complexity, and implementing solutions with established patterns and modern tools. My projects are designed to be self-contained, documented, easy to deploy, and reliable in routine use.
