I am a lead software developer, consultant, and computational biologist with more than 20 years of programming experience. I combine application development, scientific computing, and Linux systems engineering to build software that performs predictably and remains maintainable in production.

I use AI orchestration to accelerate research, implementation, and codebase analysis while retaining responsibility for architecture, correctness, security, and operational fit. More than 15 years of engineering experience before generative AI gives me the context to read unfamiliar systems critically, identify the real constraint, and verify or improve AI-assisted output rather than accepting it at face value.

I develop and improve full-stack applications, scientific and data-processing pipelines, desktop tools, self-hosted services, and automated deployment systems. My core tools include Bash, Python, Ansible, Podman, systemd, and the standard Linux software stack. I specialize in analyzing complex codebases, integrating independent components, eliminating unnecessary complexity, and replacing fragile manual procedures with documented, testable, and idempotent workflows.

My current focus is open-source software, AI-assisted engineering, and declarative programming models that make applications and infrastructure easier to describe, review, deploy, and evolve.
